It was the summer of 2017 when Casey Lynn and Tyler were both hired to be Keene State College Orientation leaders. As they began their new jobs, their summer adventures became intertwined with long days of herding freshman and even longer nights hanging out with their best pals. If you know Casey, then you'd know she'd be oblivious to a boy liking her...meanwhile, Tyler was already planning his first move. After one staff party, Casey invited lots of pals over to her apartment to keep the party going but only Tyler took her up on the offer. They spent their first night together watching her favorite movie Trolls! Fast forward to September of 2017, the two were inseparable yet still Casey did not put 2 + 2 together that Tyler was her boyfriend. On their second date, Tyler took Casey to a nursing home for dancing hour where a well-meaning old lady asked the two if they were dating. Casey did what she does best and avoided the question while Tyler happily said yes, that's my girlfriend. A few weeks later, Casey and her terrible immune system was visiting the Keene Walk-In clinic and was scrolling through Facebook to see that her relationship status was updated to "in a relationship." All her friends and family flooded her phone with texts to which she responded "I guess I have a boyfriend now..." For the next 7 years, Casey Lynn and Tyler grew together as individuals and as a couple. They lived through long distance relationship visits (where Casey would cry every time Tyler left), a pandemic, and lots of family vacations in between. As they prepared to move into their home together, Tyler was making yet another plan. Rather than the proposal in their favorite vineyard, the weather forced Tyler to think quickly on how he could surprise Casey. With the help of their families and plans not going accordingly, the proposal adventure took a new path. They began the day looking at furniture and painting pottery pieces meanwhile both our families waited at home to surprise us post engagement. As they went to leave and Casey was elated to continue the perfect day by finding a couch, Tyler pulled an audible. He clutched his stomach and explained they needed to go home NOW. Shockingly enough, Casey was not happy and the entire ride, they did not speak. As they pulled into Casey's parents' house, Tyler hoped to catch the engagement on the RING camera but instead all you saw was Casey storming into the house. As she banged on the door so that Tyler could get inside, Tyler showed the ring to which she responded "NOW?! I mean I guess so..." It took getting inside and seeing their entire family to finally register what had just happened. Since then, they have continued to have lots of adventures and they can't wait to celebrate with all of you!
