Back in 2017 Megan had just moved to Delran, NJ, just 5 minutes from where Mike lived. Mike and Megan swiped right on each other on a dating website, but actually ended up having a lot in common with each other. It was only a few months into dating that they said “I love you” to each other, but they knew from the start that they were each others soulmates & that they would be together for the long run.
A year or so into dating Mike & Megan moved in together (even though Megan had been pestering Mike to move in with her for months). Their house quickly became the place to hang - hosting Boys Night every Friday. April 2018 was not only when Mike and Megan moved into their first house together, but it was also when they got their first *fur* baby, Bowie.
After living together for a year, Mike and Megan found and bought their very first house! They packed up all their things, and with the help of their family & Bowie’s supervision, they made the 7 minute drive to their new home. It is a home that needs some work, I’m sure some of you remember the neon orange downstairs bathroom, but it is a home that is big enough to house their ever-growing family, plus it has a fenced-in yard for their pup!
Mike and Megan knew from day 1 that they were made for each other. Mike and Megan got their fur baby, Bowie when they moved into their first home. Fast forward another year & a half to Mike’s and Megan’s second home, they found out they were adding another bundle of love to their family. April 23, 2020 Mike & Megan welcome Jaclyn Marie Dydek to their ever-growing family.
Amongst the year that is 2020- coronavirus, murder hornets, toilet paper shortage, multiple quarantines, it was also the year that Mike finally popped the question. June 6, 2020 While *the new parents* were still in the first shutdown, not going to work, going stircrazy, Mike planned a little weekend getaway for just the two of us up to Port Jefferson, NY. While we strolled down the beach, Mike pulled Meg aside and started his romantic proposal speech, which Megan naturally interjected because she didn’t realize what was going on. He got down on one knee, asked, and she said yes!
