We're getting Married!

We met through the INFAMOUS dating app "Tinder." Yepp, that's right. It felt too good to be true, the virtual conversation was so smooth, never dull...it was great, but we blew each other off (multiple times). Then it was getting to the breaking point in our virtual relationship...we couldn't keep going on the way we were. The virtual conversation had to evolve, no more canceling, no more excuses, it was finally time to bite the bullet...we had to meet...in person! The day was June 2, 2019. We split the distance to meet in Melville to go indoor rock climbing. It was fun, and a little scary. But after that we weren't ready for the date to be over, we spent weeks chatting online and the hour and a half activity just wasn't enough time. We still had so much to talk about. So we drove to the Sweet Hollow Diner (separately) , even though we weren't hungry, then walked to Dunkin Donuts together. And we still weren't ready for our first date to be over. So we drove (again separately-have to be safe on these online meetings), to a pathway that was locked, so we drove some more to another pathway. Not going to lie, it seemed a little...deserted. We walked and walked until this path opened up into a huge field. We were at West Hills National Park, where we played on a wooden swing, toured the field together, sat in a little bunker, and saw a bunch of horse poop. It was wonderful and fun. And even though we weren't quite ready it was time to wrap up our nearly 6 hour long first date and we started the walk back to our cars. Little did we know that our first date would lead us here where we are ready to start a new chapter for ourselves, as husband and wife. Walking the horse poop filled path is a path I would walk forever with you by my side.
