Wedding Party

We are incredibly grateful for our closest friends and cannot wait to share our special weekend with them!

Casey Mummy

Greatest Guy

Casey and I met in 1994 when Casey moved into my neighborhood. He was immediately renamed Hoff and we became great friends. From 3rd grade on most of our childhood was spent competing in sports one way or another. Freshman year of High School brought our last season of competitive soccer, when we both decided to take our talents to the golf team, serving as co-captains our senior year. Since high school, some friendship highlights include exhaustingly backpacking (or roller suit-casing) all of Italy in 10 days, some unforgettable New Years celebrations, and golf trips to Palm Springs, Napa, and the always rainy Reedley, CA, where Hoff and his teammate Taylor are still embarrassingly winless.

Naomi Silverman

Best Babe

I met Z in the 4th grade, and thought she was pretty cool in her leggings and puff jackets. I spent a good half a year being jealous that she and some of the other girls wouldn't let me into their flower themed 'butt club', but luckily Z came around pretty quickly, we have been best friends ever since (20 years!). Highlights of the last 20 years include excessive amounts of eating potato salad and watching Friends in bed, Z making me chocolate chip pancakes during sleepovers, crying to each other about heartbreaks, sneaking drinks and going to mediocre high school parties, visiting each other's college towns, celebrating each other's wins and successes, and eating a lot of soup. I am so excited to stand by Z&C in this special part of their lives, and to see what the next 20 years brings.

Garrett Dekker

Greatest Guy

Casey was introduced to me as “Stacey” by a mutual friend, Rodger Williams, at UCSD. Like the beginning of all lasting friendships, Casey and I immediately bonded over common interests. We both share a passion for playing sports, debating movies, conducting thought experiments, and wilderness backpacking. Although adulthood and distance has made it more challenging, my favorite times with Casey are meeting up for “activity days,” where we can play tennis, football, baseball, and basketball over the course of an afternoon. I’m thrilled to be watching these two adventurous and perfectly paired humans get married to one another. Congrats to Casey and Zoe!

Sophie Kline

Best Babe

I have known Zoe the longest out of all these crazy kids, but I am the worst and still have not sent her a blurb even though she is the best and has given me 2 years to write it.

Taylor Marsh

Groom's Guy

Casey (Hoff) and I met in 3rd grade and ended up spending the rest of our academic time focused on math and science requiring countless late night study session (aka ping pong) and always a programmed calculator. Hoff has always had a competitive drive, but that doesn’t translate well when combined with a motorized vehicle. His first motorized accident took place at my 11th birthday party, resulting in aa trip to the ER for stitches. I have always admired Hoff’s thirst for knowledge, competitive nature, and desire to experience life. We have a tendency to have too much whiskey, but I am pretty sure we solve all the worlds problems. I always look forward to a philosophical debate or creation of a start up. I enjoyed living in the Bay Area and watching Hoff and Zoe’s relationship flourish!

Harry Hebeler

Bride's Bro

I'm Zoe’s best friend and I will hear no nonsense to the contrary. I'm not sure when I first met Z, I think it must have been back in the second grade. The most important thing about Z is that she is and always has been a fierce and great friend! Z- I love you and I'm so happy for you! I can’t promise that I won’t cry on your day. So sorry in advance if there is a gangly ginger with a runny nose and smile in your wedding photos. I can’t promise I won’t make stupid jokes. I can’t promise you that I won't dance like a weirdo all night long at your reception. But what I can promise you is I’ll be by your side throughout it all. I promise to support you and C in whatever adventures this your new life as a married couple brings you both. C- Go 49ers

Trevor Lyon

Groom's Guy

The story of Hoff and Trevor's friendship begins way back in the 7th grade at space camp. At the time Trevor was preoccupied hanging out with Jeff Epler, eating too many churros, and throwing up on the school bus, so the friendship wasn't solidified until many years later. But nevertheless, we're pretty sure that's where this story started. It wasn't until high school, when the two discovered a mutual admiration for movies about traveling to the center of the earth & listening to "Twilight Zone" by Golden Earring, that things started to get hot & heavy. Now years later there are too many memories (and we’re on a character limit) so we’ll leave it at this — Funny Games, 4AM bars in Chicago/Green Bay, and who could forget that time Hoff poured a beer on Joe's head in Mazatlan (or did he...)?

Gabe Light

Bride's Bro

Hello all I am Gabe, Zoe's best friend since the 2nd grade, and I very much approve of this union! Did you know that if you type "menshche" into google images you'll get some great pictures of Casey? Love you guys! I couldn't be more happy about 2 people doing something so insane. Mazel Tov and go 9ers!

Kayvon Pourmirzaie

Groom's Guy

I first met Casey at Oggi's Pizza in Del Mar watching Sunday football and we've been best buds ever since. His intellectualism, competitive spirit, die hard passion for all things sports, and genuine care for people make it an honor to call him a dear friend. My only wish was that he would have been a 49ers fan since he was born in the Bay Area in Santa Cruz, CA :)

Ross Howe

Bride's Bro

While I may only be Zoe's second favorite Ross to the Ross from friends (Ross Geller i'm coming for you). I am indisputably bridesbro number 1, and that's enough for me. She has supported me through endless bad decisions since the early 2000's and I am ecstatic to be here supporting her amazing decision to merry our very kind, very love able and very bald friend Casey.

Elliot Howard

Groom's Guy

I first met Casey at UCSD through Alex Cano & I recall he was a very genuine person with a lot more hair. We share a love for golf, backpacking adventures, & a religious-like following for our sports teams. Golf became a weekend ritual - I still end my rounds with a cold splash of water in my face (a trick Casey showed me). My first backpacking trips were with Casey & Garrett - great times, like our snowy Grand Canyon trip. In terms of sports, Seattle & Bay Area sports don’t mix well but we had a fun stretch following the Warriors for a few great years. My favorite story is when Casey told me that he knew I had met my wife after our 1st date (and he was right!) Casey has been there through many life-defining moments - I am grateful to have him as a friend & so excited for Casey & Zoe.

Tim Springer

Groom's Guy

We first met when Casey’s water-balloons were in need of a key ingredient. I came to the rescue with a functioning sink, but evil forces would keep me & the jew-fro apart for years. Our paths would cross again at the 2-story house of Garrett Dekker (The Double Dekker) where I taught Casey the meaning of competition, sportsmanship, & body-slamming woman. Casey shared his wisdom on tennis backswings & life during hottub sessions discussing life’s endless pasta-bilities. Some of my favorite experiences have been together, such as wearing scuba gear at 10,000 ft or wearing stolen Hoffman gear to try to jinx his sports teams. I’m not sure if he kept me around because I was an interesting find for a psych major or cause he’s obsessed with engineers, but I consider myself a lucky fellow.
