We met during our senior year at William & Mary, in a class that we both disliked, on Casey's 21st birthday. We bonded over our love of football and went on our first date on October 28, 2019. We went to a bar in Williamsburg and watched the Dolphins (painfully) lose to the Steelers. We talked the entire game and knew that we had found something special. Casey graduated in the winter of 2019, and despite the worries about long-distance, we decided to stick it out. We were long-distance for three years, while Casey went to law school in Nashville, and Zach lived and worked in Virginia. After Casey graduated, she moved back to Virginia and we moved in together and got a golden retriever puppy (much to the annoyance of our Newfie). In April of 2024, Zach proposed during a private Disney fireworks cruise. We are so excited for our next chapter together and look forward to continuing our happily ever after.
