Arizona’s Verde Valley was home to several fledgling wineries, but it wasn’t yet on the map for most oenophiles. Now, it’s an ideal destination for a wine-tasting afternoon or weekend, with more than 25 places—wineries, tasting rooms, and restaurants—to get a taste of terroir from the region and around Arizona. We recommend checking out Page Spring Cellars, Merkin Vineyards and Arizona stronghold Winery.
Jerome, Arizona, is a charming hillside town with views of the entire verde valley, offering a unique blend of history, art, and scenic beauty. Once a booming copper mining town, Jerome has transformed into a vibrant artist community and popular tourist destination. Explore the hillside climbing up steps and possibly go on a ghost tour!
The most popular tour company would be PINK Jeep Tours, but there are many other local jeep excursions to choose from!
