What is the dress code?

Answer

We ask that our male guests please wear a suit and our female guests wear cocktail attire. We are having our ceremony outside but our reception will be indoors with the opportunity to explore outside more after dinner. Our wedding is in May in Charlottesville, which means spring weather - it may be a bit chilly outside or you may need to bring a fan! With the ceremony being on grass, wedges over heals may be preferable for walking around.

When is the RSVP deadline?

We ask that you RSVP by April 28, 2022 directly on our website. We will not be sending our RSVP cards with our invitations. Please contact us at (434)996-7146 if you are having trouble with your RSVP.

Will there be a shuttle service?

Answer

There will be a shuttle service available before the wedding and throughout the night. Shuttle 1: Hyatt Place in Stonefield Shuttle 2: Still deciding the best location, but we will update you all once it is decided upon Please note that there will be parking if you wish to drive yourself, however parking is limited and on a grass field. We want all of our guest to be safe so you are more than welcome to leave your car on the property for the night if catch a ride home. Lyft and Uber drivers will be able to access the property all night long.

Are children invited?

Answer

While we may not have children, we do understand that they are a big part of some of our guest's lives. We ask that unless you have asked us ahead of time, you do not bring your children with you. For our guests that will be bringing their children, we would like to be able to celebrate with you past some bedtimes, so we will offer a sitter during the later hours of the night.

What can we do the night before the ceremony?

Answer

Our rehearsal dinner will be celebrated with family. We would like to set up a location in town for our friends to meet up and get to know each other the night before. This will be a place for us to come see everyone after the rehearsal dinner. There will be more on this to come.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, there will be an open bar and we hope that you enjoy all the drinks you would like! We do ask that you make sure you tip the bartenders as they will be quite busy all night.

What kind of food will be served?

Answer

Please see our schedule of events (reception) for the menu! *Once we have finalized the menu, it will be posted there! We have not made our final decision on what will be served, but we will do our best to accommodation all food allergies and preferences!

What are your social media preferences?

Answer

We (Casey) love pictures as much as anyone else and we want as many as we can get to remember our night. We ask that you refrain from taking pictures during the ceremony as we would like to keep it as intimate as possible however, take as many as you would like afterwards. We have hired an amazing photographer as well and we cannot wait to see how all of the photographs turn out! We do not have a hashtag at this time (and not sure we will have one) but we would like to be tagged in anything posted so that we can remember the night with everyone.
