In January 2021, Ruthie was beginning the second semester of her senior year and Casey was entering the second semester of his Junior year. On January 2, 2021, Ruthie wished Casey a happy seventeenth birthday and a friendship ensued. Then, on March 12, 2021, Casey asked Ruthie to be his girlfriend. Of course, she said yes, which was the beginning of many new adventures together, such as mushroom hunting, fishing, and just hanging out at the river. In January, 2022, Ruthie moved to Terre Haute to attend Indiana State University, in pursuit of a degree in nursing. Casey was finishing his senior year at Cloverdale High School while working at the Cloverdale Feed Mill. Both had extremely busy schedules and living in two different towns was a challenge. However, they always found time for one another. On December 30, 2023, while visiting one of their favorite places at the river, Casey asked Ruthie to marry him. Of course, she said yes! Casey and Ruthie ask you to join them, in celebrating their special day, that will mark the beginning of a whole new adventure, as husband and wife.
