FAQs

Question

Why Palm Springs?

Answer

Why not? It's one of our favorite places, and if you're coming you're one of our favorite people. Don't worry; you'll love it.

Question

Our invite doesn't have my kid/kids on it; what gives?!

Answer

Trust us. We wanted to be able to accommodate everyone, as there are a lot of very important kids to us in our families. Unfortunately, kids aren't able to attend because our venue is not exactly "kid friendly" due to a few precarious areas. Please know that this decision wasn't reached lightly, as we know everyone will be traveling and it's tough without the kiddos. Our coordinator at the venue has passed along a few licensed and reputable child care providers which we are happy to share with you, so feel free to reach out if you need to. We thank you for your understanding and hope with the advance notice, that you are still able to share our day with us!

Question

Can I bring a date/plus one?

Answer

Negative ghost rider. Nobody who is invited will not know anyone else attending, so there's no need for plus ones. We can only accommodate so many people, and we're inviting those closest to us which means family and friends.

Question

When should I RSVP?

Answer

By January 1st 2019, or you'll feel the wrath.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We understand the time, energy, and cost of a destination wedding, and your presence alone is a worthy gift. With that being said if you'd still like to get us something, head on over to the registry tab where we've put a list together of some rad stuff.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire. Palm Springs has a rep for being toasty, but it will be perfect weather in February and we've got AC for the indoor reception. Men; a suit is preferred. Women; feel free to rock that little black dress (we're not superstitious - we're just a little stitious). Don't worry; you'll look great!

Question

What time is the ceremony?

Answer

4 PM. Sharp. There will be some refreshments ahead of time so we'd suggest getting there a bit early.

Question

Is there parking at your venue?

Answer

Oh yes, don't you worry. There will be a free valet service, because you're all VIP's.

Question

What the heck is an unplugged ceremony?

Answer

During the ceremony, we're asking people to be unplugged from phones or cameras and sit back, relax, and enjoy. Our photographer, Christina, is immensely talented. We promise to share her professional photos with all! But after? Go wild!

Question

I have other questions that haven't been answered here - who should I contact?

Answer

Feel free to shoot Casey or Reilly a call or text, or feel free to send us an email at theweavers2019@gmail.com!
