From boss to best friend - I don't know what I would do without her! Mel is my best friend and the friend I trust most in the world to always be honest with me, even when it is difficult. To me, that is a mark of closeness and of true friendship. I consider Mel a sister and I cannot imagine getting married without her right next to me! Mel and her husband Phil live in Kalamazoo and the four of us continue to get closer with time!

Arik and Patrick are as "thick as thieves!" They met in a sword fighting group called the SCA within their "house" called the "Thieves of Hearts" - they have become best friends since. Casey also greatly admires Arik and appreciates the deep friendship between Arik and Patrick. We are both so excited to have Arik as part of our day!

Sister by law - best friend by choice. Love my sister Ashley with all of my heart. She has grown from being someone I tolerated to being someone I cannot imagine life without - a friend, a listener, a true sister, and a mother to one of my favorite people on earth. Can’t imagine this day without her in it.

Justin and Patrick met through Brewing School at KVCC and began friendship over a mutual love for beer, whiskey, and outdoor sports. Justin was one of the first friends of Patrick that Casey met and the two couples (Justin and wife Abby) have spent multiple weekends together up north at Justin's home or cabin. We are so grateful to have him as part of our day!

Sister of the groom and new sister of the bride! Melissa will be standing with her brother but participating in all of the bridesmaid activities! Patrick and Melissa are the only two siblings and have been very close their entire lives and the bride is very excited to have another sister! Melissa is loved deeply by the bride and groom!

I was his RA, then we were RAs together, and now he is a long-time best friend. Nate and I have been though so much since we Baden friends and we have both been there for each other through it all. Nate is a loving and dedicated friend and I am so excited to have him be a part of my big day!

It makes the bride very happy that Patrick and Carl have become friends! They have bonded over snowboarding, beer, and bourbon and Carl appreciates Pat's kind and true heart. We are so glad to have Carl be a part of our big day!

Pat and I bought our house in 2021 and instead of just getting an amazing new house, we also got amazing new neighbors. Rebecca and her husband Luis have become some of our best friends. We have spent lots of time in each other’s yards and houses and we adore them and their two children Luka and Josie. Rebecca immediately clicked with me and we because close friends very quickly. We are so grateful to have them as neighbors and to have Rebecca be a part of our big day!
