Casey's favorite place to be, as he has lived on Capitol Hill his whole life (self-attested "Capitol Hillbilly"), and we both have so many fond memories here. Fremont Fair- June 22nd & 23rd
The 51st Annual Fremont Fair kicks off summer in Seattle with an iconic summer celebration. The festival draws over 100,000 guests to a six-city block street festival showcasing Seattle’s eclectic roots with arts & crafts shopping, live music, food and drink, and artistic expression for young and old alike.
Fremont Solstice Parade- June 22nd 2-4pm
Fremont’s funky annual human-powered parade to bring in Summer. Note: you may peep a naked biker or two
The Henry Art Gallery
The Henry’s mission is to engage all people in the transformative power of contemporary art and ideas. On Exhibit through August: Hank Willis Thomas: "LoveRules" collection, and the Raul de Nieves: "A window to the see, a spirit star chiming in the wind of wonder..." are two fabulous collections that we highly recommend!
Pike Place Market
Always a favorite- for tourists and locals alike! Try all of the fabulous food, smell all the amazing flowers, watch some fish get thrown, discover all the hidden nooks an crannies.
