Best Man
Noah is Casey's younger brother by 18 months and he couldn't be luckier to have him as a younger brother. Despite having a brotherly rivalry when they were younger they have been and still are great friends. Noah is caring and passionate about everything that he does, including his family which is something Casey greatly respects. He will always have a special role in Casey's life by keeping him humble while also encouraging him in everything that he does.
Maid of Honor
Katie is Morgan's baby sister who she loves so much! When Morgan was little she told her parents she was getting a baby sister and thank goodness it worked out because Morgan was convinced prior to her parents knowing the gender. Despite what strangers think Morgan is the older sister even though Katie's height makes her often look older. Katie is one of the most thoughtful people Morgan knows and forever keeps Morgan updated on what's "cool" and the latest fashion. Forever built in best friends.
Best Man
Mark and Casey have been friends as long as either of them can remember. Casey's first memory of them together was in 4th grade when they had to be seated on opposite sides of the room because they would constantly cause trouble if placed near each other. They share many of the same interests and currently live together in northern Virginia. Casey appreciated Mark's straight-forward manner and will forever be grateful for being a large part in how he developed into who he is today.
Bridesmaid
Formerly Morgan Darrow, Morgan met Morgan sometime around 8th grade through various church events. Through a mutual friend they became MD^2 and never looked back. While they went to different schools for middle and high school they got the joy of attending UNC Chapel Hill together and were both a part of Lutheran Campus Ministries. Morgan D always says that she is so lucky to have a "twin" like Morgan L because they complement each other so well and Morgan D feels so fortunate to have someone as kind and thoughtful as Morgan L in her life.
Groomsman
Michael and Casey met the second semester of their freshman year at NC State and became fast friends. They lived together their junior and senior years with two other guys and enjoyed every moment of it. Casey was fortunate to be a groomsman for Michael in 2022 when he married his wonderful wife Scottie. Michael's goofy nature makes him fun to be around and he's always making sure everyone around him is having a good time.
Bridesmaid
Morgan and Abby met at orientation at UNC Chapel Hill when they were assigned to the same orientation group and their first academic advising section. They joke that they stayed more mutual friends until later in college when they finally had classes together and became very close. One of Morgan's favorite memories of Abby is countless nights spent at He's Not together, including one where Abby brought Morgan mac 'n cheese for dinner to the bar to convince her to stay longer. Morgan was fortunate to be a bridesmaid in Abby's wedding in April 2022!
Groomsman
Zach and Casey have been friends for many years but became very close in high school during their junior year when they sat next to each other in a calculus class (shout out Mrs. Bunting). Casey is lucky enough to be a groomsman in Zach's wedding in October 2024 where he will get married to his amazing fiancé Michaela. Casey largely credits Zach for getting him out of his shell by encouraging him to wear a blue body suit and accessories to the Millbrook High School football games while they were in school there. Ever since those days in high school, Casey has considered Zach one of his closest friends.
Bridesmaid
Annabell and Morgan met while in PT school when the school's Covid program placed them into the same 10 person lab group for that first year. Not long into that first semester they started becoming inseparable, carpooling to classes and going on de-stressor walks on the local trails. They remained table-mates throughout almost every class in their three years together. Morgan is so thankful for Annabell always having good advice and being with her through all the highs and lows that PT school and life has brought them.
Groomsman
Casey and Michael met in high school when they were in the same AP World History class and became good friends, even going on to living together their junior and senior years of college. Michael was student body president their senior year at Millbrook High School and that let to Casey giving him the nickname "Mr. President". Casey considers Michael one of his closest friends because of his kindness and passion. Casey's favorite memory of Michael is when Michael was supposed to teach Casey how to ski; ask him about it if you meet him if you want a funny story. Also, those calves.
Bridesmaid
Colleen and Morgan met way back in second grade at summer swim team when Morgan moved to Colleen's neighborhood. Colleen very quickly welcomed Morgan into the neighborhood's group of girls and they never looked back. From that point on they attended the rest of elementary, middle, and high school together. They have countless stories of shopping trips, beach trips, and going off-campus for lunch together. Colleen went to undergrad all the way in Texas (very sad) and so Morgan and Colleen started a snapchat streak that is still going strong today at almost 3,000 days as an easy way to stay in touch. Almost all of Morgan's memories growing up involve Colleen, from bargaining with their moms for sleepovers to countless trips in each other's cars (often to get milkshakes). Morgan truly can't imagine life without Colleen in it.
Groomsman
Casey and Alex met in college through mutual friends and became good friends their junior year at NC State. Alex and Casey share a common interest in video games and talk almost every day because of it even though they live in different states. They share many great memories between spring breaks, going to parties or downtown Raleigh, and just generally hanging out at the house in college. Alex is very loyal to his friends and is always having a good time which are things Casey admires most about him.
Bridesmaid
Madison and Morgan also met at UNC Chapel Hill when they both joined the Athletic Training Program and very quickly became attached at the hip. They were the perfect lab partners and table-mates and would rarely be seen without the other one at their side. Morgan and Madison spent a large chunk of their classes and study sessions together, the latter often with blue icees for extra motivation. To the surprise of no-one their senior superlatives for the AT program were "attached at each other's hip."
Groomsman
Casey and Ryan also met in AP World History class at Millbrook High School and became fast friends. They also lived together at NC State their junior and senior years with Michael Mares and Michael Hayes. Ryan was often the mastermind of the parties they through at their house and is always having fun no matter the circumstances. Casey considers Ryan one of his closest friends because of the time they spent together at Millbrook High School and at NC State, and because he is always pushing Casey to be more social and meet new people.
Bridesmaid
Marissa and Morgan met at their dance company, Blank Canvas Dance Company, at UNC Chapel Hill their freshman year of college. Marissa jokes that she is so glad Morgan forced her friendship on her all those years ago but really it is Morgan that is so thankful for Marissa's friendship. Throughout many Union Underground study sessions, dance rehearsals, bar nights, and everything else in between they became each other's person. One of Morgan's favorite memories was attending the Carolina/Dook basketball game together their senior year and rushing Franklin St. together. One of Morgan's favorite fun facts about Marissa is that she was the one to push Morgan to going to an escape room with Casey and his family right before they started dating.
