Question

Can you give me more clear directions?

Answer

We sure can. Subway: Take the Q train or the Prospect Park Shuttle S train to the Prospect Park station. Exit the station at the Ocean Ave & Lincoln Road exit on the NE corner. Look to the right down Lincoln Road and you'll see the entrance to the park. Follow the walking directions below. Uber/Lyft: Have the car drop you at the Ocean Avenue and Lincoln Road entrance to Prospect Park. Follow the walking directions below. Once you get into the park, you'll see signs directing you. Walk along East Lake Drive, dip under the tunnel, and head right towards the beautiful Boathouse. It's about a 7 minute walk, entirely on roads and sidewalks, so no need to restrict your shoe choices. Or you can just use Google/Apple Maps.

Question

Can you tell me about parking at the venue?

Answer

PLEASE read this if you're planning to drive and park your own car! There are only 30 parking spaces available along Willink Drive in the park, so there is not enough room for everyone. Let Casey or Mischa know as soon as possible if you are planning to drive and park your car. Note that the parking lot is about a 7 minute walk to the venue. There will be people directing you. A visual of how to get to event parking can be found here, along with clear directions: https://www.prospectpark.org/wp-content/uploads/filer_public/f7/cf/f7cfdb66-a1a6-49f4-8d6b-40e7ac236271/boathouse_directional_card_spread.pdf. There are 1-2 accessible parking spaces for guests with disabilities. Please let Casey or Mischa know and we'll be sure to accommodate you.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Our wedding is Formal Attire. Feel free to wear a tuxedo, a dark suit, a gown, a midi or tea-length dress, a skirt or pant set, a dressy jumpsuit, or similar. Dress to impress in whatever you feel best. If you have questions about attire, don't be shy. Text Casey at 561-716-8696.

Question

Are children allowed at the wedding?

Answer

We love your kids, but we've elected to have an adults-only wedding.

Question

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

Our venue's capacity is limited, so we've chosen to only invite people we know and love. We promise you'll know and love the people there, too!

Question

Can I get more information on the ceremony?

Answer

We'll be having a 30-35 minute outdoor ceremony. Check the forecast before getting dressed!

Question

Can I take a photo or video of the ceremony?

Answer

We'll have a photographer and a videographer capturing our wedding ceremony, so please put your phones away and on silent.

Question

I have a food allergy. What do I do?

Answer

Don't worry. We've got you covered. For those gluten free and/or dairy free, our menu will have plenty of options for you. For those with other severe allergies (including the bride, hi!), please let Casey or Mischa know and we will make sure to accommodate you.

Question

I'm not feeling well. Should I still come?

Answer

We love you, but please do not come to any wedding events if you're feeling ill.

Question

I have a question not listed here. Who should I go to?

Answer

If you know Casey at all, you know she loves to talk. Text her at 561-716-8696 with additional questions.
