Things To Do

To inspire your time in our city, here is how we spend a perfect weekend day. Casey (sometimes) starts with a scenic run at the Schenley Oval or on the Eliza Furnace trail, while Matt does some disc golfing at Knob Hill or Schenley Park. Then, our other favorite sport: brunch. We love Lola's, Sally Ann's, or Wise County Biscuits the most. There are some great coffee spots with local art, like De Fer, locally owned book stores, like White Whale, and a great small theater to check out (Row House Cinemas). But this is a perfect weekend day, so a Pittsburgh Brewery Tour is next. There are over 40 breweries currently in the Pittsburgh Brewers Guild, so take your pick, but we recommend Grist House, Dancing Gnome, and Eleventh Hour (where we got engaged!) After some board games, and probably napping, it's the grand finale: we love a restaurant. Casey loves to yap about food, so call for a personalized rec, but see below for our tried and true list. TLDR; See Below!
