Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We really truly just want you to feel fabulous and confident at our wedding. If you like getting fancy, use this as your excuse to go all out. If the thought of "dressing up" makes you want to shrivel up and disappear, then wear whatever you'll feel most like yourself in. Just maybe a little more effort than jeans and a t-shirt, por favor.

Question

Will there be dancing?

Answer

YES, there will be dancing. (We guarantee it.) Do you HAVE to dance? No. If moving your body in front of other humans makes you uncomfortable, no one's going to force you to get on the dance floor. But we would be truly honored if you busted a move with us. Don't worry, we'll feel awkward about it, too. Warning: if you want to talk to Casey, the dance floor is where we anticipate she'll be most of the evening.

Question

What's with the Quaker thing?

Answer

Casey was raised Quaker and is excited to share a few traditions with you all! To honor Quakers' silent worship, there will be a period of silence during the ceremony before our vows. The officiant will tell everyone when this period begins and ends. If you have something you'd like to share with Margi and Casey and those present, you are welcome to stand and speak. The idea here is that guests who are present can give the couple blessings before they say their vows. There's absolutely no pressure to speak if you don't want to! (If you do share something, please leave a brief silence between speakers and be brief. We've all got a party to get to.) Quakers LOVE a potluck. So we'll be doing a traditional potluck dessert table.
