When should I RSVP?

We ask that you please RSVP by August 3rd.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Our ceremony will start promptly at 5:30 so please arrive no later than 30 minutes before in order to get your seat so you don’t miss anything!

What should I wear?

Cocktail attire is the requested dress code. Please no jeans!

What about COVID-19?

Answer

As of now, we are moving forward with the ceremony and reception. If anything changes, we will make an announcement here and contact everyone. If you do not feel comfortable coming, we completely understand. We will not require masks but feel free to wear one if you’d like. Both the ceremony and reception are outdoors.

Where are you registered?

You can find our wedding registries right here on Zola! There is a “Registry” tab that will take you to our registry here on Zola and at the bottom of the page you will find registries to Target and Bed Bath & Beyond.

Can I take pictures?

Answer

Our ceremony will be “unplugged” meaning only our professional photographers will be taking pictures. We do not want cellphones in the pictures of our ceremony. You are welcome to take pictures at the reception. Please use our wedding hashtag “IJustCantWaitToBeKing” on social media so we can look back at all the pictures in the future.

Where should we stay?

We have added a list of hotels in the “Travel” tab of our website here on Zola in Thomasville, GA. The venue will be 20 minutes outside of Thomasville.

What type of food will be served?

Answer

We are having a taco bar! There will be a choice of beef or chicken tacos, rice and beans, as well as chips and salsa.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party, immediate family, and bride and groom will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head inside the venue where we will be serving finger foods and beverages. There will also be lawn games to keep you entertained.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. If your invitation states your name “and guest” you may bring a date.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes! We will have an open bar for beer and wine.

Where is the ceremony and reception?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will both take place at Owl and Moon. The address for the venue is 2818 Dry Lake Rd Dixie, GA 31629
