FAQs

Question

Do I need to be vaccinated to attend?

Answer

Yes, all guests twelve years and older need to be fully vaccinated in order to attend.

Question

Do I need to wear a mask?

Answer

That is entirely up to you, however all unvaccinated children should wear masks except when eating/drinking

Question

What is the pandemic safety protocol for the event?

Answer

- We ask that guests avoid indoor dining and other higher risk activities for the week leading up to the party - Guests should get tested (if possible) a few days before the party, especially those who are traveling from out of state or have children in school - Outdoor space is available at the front and back of the venue, and we will have windows and doors open throughout with fans and ac running - Plenty of hand sanitizer and extra masks will be provided if you need them

Question

What pronouns do you each use?

Answer

Casey is non-binary and uses They/Them pronouns (ex. "Where does Casey work?" "They work at a bookstore") Larkin is a queer femme and uses She/Her pronouns (you don't need an example, you've got this)

Question

So, what do you call each other now that you're married?

Answer

We still call ourselves partners, though Casey does respond to "husbutch" and Larkin secretly enjoys "wife" more than she should.

Question

What's the event schedule like?

Answer

First, drinks and light snacks. Then, buffet and dancing. Finally, donuts and dance out the door!

Question

So is there a ceremony?

Answer

Nope, we're already married! Just party down, folks!

Question

What's the food sitch?

Answer

Fajitas and donuts baby! Veggie and gluten free options, of course.
