There will be a professional photographer at the wedding, and the ceremony itself won’t last longer than an hour. The bride kindly asks that female guests avoid wearing black, as it is traditionally considered a mourning color in the Czech Republic and not appropriate for a wedding. We would love to take family photos during the event, especially since our family is spread all across the U.S., and this might be one of the rare chances to get everyone together. Because of this, we kindly ask everyone to avoid casual clothing and instead wear formal attire — suits for gentlemen and dresses for ladies — so we can have beautiful memories captured. After the ceremony, there will be a small picnic at the beach. We recommend bringing a change of clothes in your car if you'd like to change into something more comfortable afterward. As for Thursday’s Nā Lei Aloha, A Waikīkī Lū'au, Hawaiian style or casual, comfortable clothing is perfect for the occasion.
Please let us know if you have any special dietary needs or if there's anything extra we should arrange for you.

As much as we love a lively conversation, we kindly ask everyone to avoid diving into politics, religion, or world conflicts during our big day! However, jokes at the groom’s expense? Totally fair game. In fact, strongly encouraged. He claims he’s “mentally prepared.” We’ll see. 😉 Thank you for keeping the mood joyful, light, and full of love!
