Casey and Justin’s story began with a quiet spark—two people meeting through mutual friends, neither expecting anything more than just a casual connection. But sometimes, the best relationships begin in the most unassuming ways. Talking and laughing every day turned into months, and eventually, everyone was just waiting for them to become official. On July 6th of 2017, Justin asked Casey to be his girlfriend with a romantic walk down the beach right under the Cherry Grove Pier. It was a moment that felt as natural as breathing, but it marked the beginning of a love that would only grow stronger with each passing year. Through the highs and the lows, they navigated life hand in hand. From the joy of shared dreams to the heartache of loss, they learned together, supported each other, and grounded their relationship in faith. In every challenge, they grew closer; in every victory, they celebrated together. Their love became a living testament to resilience, trust, and the power of keeping Jesus at the center of it all. As the years unfolded, Justin was cooking up a plan. On December 28th, 2024, they made the hike up Lookout Trail in Black Mountain, North Carolina. The view from the top was nothing short of breathtaking, but it was the moment when Casey was lost in the beauty of the scene that would take her breath away for a different reason. With the mountains as a backdrop and a heart full of love, Justin dropped to one knee, asking her to spend forever by his side. Now, as they step into the next chapter of their love story, they can’t wait to share it with the people who have been there for them from the start.
