I don’t even know where to start with Junior Lawhon I’ve known him for about 12 years now, since a young age junior has always shown a passion for his friends/family, and has always strived to do better in life. I met junior though his sister, and now he is my brother in law. It amazes me just how fast time flies, I remember play wrestling with junior when he was about 10 years of age and pinning him down, but needless to say I can’t do that anymore because I’d prolly be the one on the bottom lol. Junior is also The Godfather to my youngest daughter Elyzabeth, he has shown love and compassion towards her and his faith so when the time came the choice was obvious, I’m honored to call him my brother in law and words cannot describe how proud I am of him.

I’ve known Casey for about 5 years. We met in college through our sorority Fashion Board. The day I met her I knew I wanted to be her friend. She became my “little” in Fashion Board and quickly grew to become my best friend. I have always admired Casey’s passion and positivity. Some of my favorite memories with Casey are just being in my car! Whether it was driving to Ruidoso or me taking her home (before she had a car) we would always end up having long talks just sitting in the car because neither one of us was ready to go. I am so excited to see Casey and Junior get married! They love each other with their whole being and work hard to make each other happy! Congratulations Casey and Junior!

I’ve known Casey since she moved to Sweetwater during high school. We got to know each other through classes and our mutual friend group, as well as my sister’s friendship with Junior. Our friendship grew stronger after high school and into college and adulthood. My favorite memory with Casey is definitely our late-night Truck Stop visits that inevitably last well into the morning hours. She has supported me in my marriage, and I cannot wait to do the same for her!

With a little help of pixie dust, I was lucky enough to meet Casey through the Disney College Program and have her as my roommate. I’ve only known Casey since January 2019, but I literally could not pick just one favorite memory. This sweet friend was always there to encourage bad ideas & join in. I can’t decide if my favorite memory is running through Magic Kingdom every second we had, staying up until 3 am talking about anything & everything, or wasting all our money at Chick-fil-A. Although the DCP ended, we now enjoy the hours of FaceTime calls. I can’t describe how grateful I am to have a roommate turn into a forever friend! If this whole experience has taught me anything it’s that a true friendship has no time limit, no state line barrier, and distance makes the heart grow fonder.
