First, we appreciate the love, patience, and understanding as we plan a wedding during a pandemic. We also understand and empathize with anyone’s health concerns in regard to traveling and attending. Please let us know if you are unable to attend due to your concerns. We certainly understand and want everyone to feel safe and comfortable! Please know your safety and health are important to us and we want everyone to feel at ease.
Yes. Unfortunately, we are unable to invite our entire guest list to the wedding ceremony because of limited church capacity at this time. We wish it was not this way and that we could include all of our loved ones in this special moment. Wearing a mask/face covering is required inside the church at this time. Social distancing is also required inside the church at this time. Every other pew will be closed and it is asked that you sit 6ft from others who do not live in your household. Because of the guest list limitations, we also had to make the difficult decision to make this an adults only ceremony.
Very few. Luckily, we can invite our entire guest list to the reception! There will be more people at the reception than at the wedding ceremony and we will be SO HAPPY to celebrate with everyone! Currently, there is NOT a mask requirement at the venue for guests. However, the staff will be wearing masks and you are welcome to as well if you wish to. Currently, social distancing is NOT required at the reception venue, as guests will be seated at round tables with others and of course there will be dining, drinking, and dancing!
We will keep this website as up-to-date as possible regarding any changes. We are praying that some of the restrictions will be lifted and masks/social distancing requirements will be lessened within the church. If this happens, we will praise God, and extend further invitations to the ceremony as we are able! This is a moving target and we are planning as we go, not knowing what December 5th will look like exactly. Thank you again for your love and understanding.
