It's quite possible that Jon was drawn to my Instagram profile since he slid into my DMs and even added a few fire emojis to some of my selfies. Eventually, he asked me out for a mutual friend's birthday celebration. However, at that time, I was recovering from COVID and I explained the situation to Jon and suggested we reschedule. Fortunately, we did meet up the following night for sushi, and I must have impressed him with my talk of real estate because we hit it off immediately. From that moment on, we were inseparable. But it was the "freeze" incident that cemented our relationship. Jon was stranded at my place, and it became clear that we were meant to be together. We merged our lives, friends, families, and even our dogs, and now we're ready to take the next step in our journey together. Interestingly, we both hail from The Woodlands and even attended the same high school, although we didn't know each other back then. We have so many mutual friends that it's hard to keep track, but it's clear that fate brought us together when the time was right.
