We joke about saying “we met in jail,” but that is where we first met in our lines of work. I eventually found the courage to message Casey and we went out on a few dates. If you know us, then you know I was not sold at first. But hey, third time is the charm, right? By the third try, I was hooked. We’ve been inseparable ever since.
We had just returned from an amazing trip to Mexico and my family was going to Panama City Beach. I wasn’t going to pass up another beach trip, but Casey had to work. I went down there early and precious Casey drove down late Thursday night, only to have one full day at the beach as we were leaving Saturday. What a “one full day” that was! For the first time in history, my family was dressed and ready early enough for pictures on the beach before dinner. I took our group picture and then I was ready to go, because, well.. Angelos. After my family insisted, I walked back to the water for a picture with Casey and when I turned around, there he was on one knee. Of course the answer was yes!
