We met walking on LSU's beautiful campus! John started the conversation by asking what building one of his classes were in and like the wonderful LSU tour guide I am, I helped him! Then, John asked for my digits and the rest is history!

We were on our way to what I thought was one of our regular trips to downtown Lafayette, Louisiana with the family. Once we got downtown, we all started walking and begin admiring the Christmas decorations. My dad hugged me and placed a sweet kiss on my forehead. When I turned around, John was on one knee, and I immediately started crying tears of joy and shock! I said yes and we celebrated the rest of the night with family.
