Casey and I met in January of 2024 after we matched on Catholic Match. Our first date was at an Irish pub called Halligan's in Flourtown, PA. We sat in a cozy little corner of the bar, drank a Guinness, and talked over the blaring polka music in the background. It was a perfect date. We continued to talk and become much closer over the next few months where I learned that Casey is extremely competitive in Chinese checkers and I am continually learning different recipes and ways to season my food. We try and make it a weekly staple for us to get to adoration together on Monday night at St. Helena in Blue Bell. Adoration has really been great for us as a couple and has really strengthened our relationship. One Monday, (May 5th) after adoration, I asked Casey if she wanted to go for a little walk on the grounds of the church. It was after a very long day but Casey was such a good sport for agreeing to go for this little walk down a winding path to a little grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes. It was there that I got down on one knee ("leg day" as we called it) and asked her to be my wife. She said Yes! And then I spent 17 years trying to get the ring on her finger because I was so happy and my hands were shaking! Please keep us in your prayers as we are trying to grow closer to Our Lord, to each other, and preparing to take on the responsibility of husband and wife and become one in November. We are so blessed to have each other in our lives and can't wait to celebrate our wedding with you.
