Our StoryOur Story
In September of 2020, Jeff went out on the town to celebrate a work accomplishment with his team from the Ohio State Engagement Center. After several unsuccessful attempts to find a restaurant that was open on a Monday during Covid, they finally landed on Local Cantina in the Brewery District in Columbus.
Their server, an outgoing, curly-haired girl named Madi, was having a slow night and gave their table all of her attention. After multiple rounds of drinks, Jeff's colleague asked Madi if she knew any eligible singles for Jeff.
Madi blurted out, "My best friend, Casey, is single! Do you want her number?"
Jeff declined, but Madi took down his number to pass along to Casey. Days later, after doing her necessary research, Casey texted Jeff requesting a resume and cover letter to determine if he was worthy of being "Casey's Suitor." Jeff complied, crafting a charming cover letter that impressed Casey, who then invited him for an "in-person interview" — their first date.

Jeff's first visit to Canton and the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Little did he know he'd be getting married here 4 years later!
