What should I wear?

Answer

The attire for all of our events is semi-formal/cocktail.

What is the weather like at that time of year?

Answer

Generally, quite nice during the day but can drop down into the low 60s at night. Layering in California is always a good idea.

How do I get there? Where do I park?

Answer

The Kennolyn Hilltop Hacienda is...Surprise, located on a hilltop! We urge caution driving as the road is quite windy. There is plenty of parking at the venue should you wish to drive there, but everyone is more than welcome to take the shuttle from the Hilton Scotts Valley even if you are not staying at the hotel. If you are staying in Santa Cruz proper, you will likely be able to Uber there, but the chances of being able to find an Uber back are slim. If you go this route, you are welcome to hop on the shuttle taking folks downtown to the bars.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

4:00pm! The ceremony will get started at 4:30pm.

What about COVID?

Answer

To our knowledge, the vast majority of our guests are vaccinated. We have also been working closely with our venue to monitor all current CDC recommendations and will comply with any restrictions. Thankfully, 90% of our event is completely outdoors, so we are hoping that we will not have to wear masks on the day of the event. However, we are happy to provide one to anyone who wants one.
