Answer

The ceremony will be held outside at 10,500 feet of elevation. It is accessible via chair lift from the reception site, which is at the main ski resort.

Question

Is the reception outside too?

Answer

Question

What is the Saturday brunch?

Answer

Join us for a relaxed, RSVP-only brunch the morning after the wedding! It’s a chance to unwind, enjoy good food, and spend a little more time together before heading home.

Question

Why does elevation matter?

Answer

Durango, CO is at 6,500 feet of elevation above sea level. Once at the venue, the elevation increases to 9,000 - 10,500 feet. The air becomes very thin at higher elevations, making it more difficult to breathe.

Question

What are some ways to minimize effects of elevation?

Answer

Hydrate more than usual, arrive early to acclimate if you can, avoid overexertion, eat well, and be mindful of alcohol consumption as the effects are amplified at altitude.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is formal attire. We’d love to see our guests dressed to impress - suits or dress pants and dress shirt for men and dresses or elegant pants suits for women. Please dress comfortably enough to dance the night away!

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

While we love your children, we kindly request that our wedding be an adult only celebration.

Question

Is there parking on site?

Answer

Yes. If you choose to not stay on site, there is plenty of parking in the main lot.

Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

The chair lift opens 30 minutes prior to the ceremony. The chair lift ride is about 10 minutes, so please plan accordingly.

Question

What is the weather like in Colorado?

Answer

Typical June weather in Durango ranges from high 70's to 80's during the day and mid 40's to 50's at night. At higher elevation it can be cooler with possibility for higher winds.
