We're getting married!

Casey was born in Chicago, Illinois along with his twin brother, Cullen, to Tom and Susan on September 16, 1984. After his younger brother, Cody, was born, the family eventually moved to Aspen, Colorado before arriving in Tucson, Arizona. This is where Casey considers home because here he would attend middle school, high school, and eventually the University of Arizona where he would graduate with a Bachelors of Arts in Music Business. Felipe was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil on December 30, 1986. Shortly thereafter his mother, Cristina, immigrated to New York City in pursuit of better opportunities for herself and her son. During this time, Felipe was raised by his maternal grandmother. Felipe would eventually immigrate to New York City in 1992, but would return to Brazil every year during summer breaks from school to be with his family and continue practicing his Portuguese. One of those summers when he was 12, Felipe met his father, Eduardo, and his siblings Joana, Pedro, Eduardo Jr, and Roberto which changed his life forever. Cristina and Felipe would eventually move to Chandler, AZ, a suburb of Phoenix, where he went to high school. From there, Felipe attended the University of Arizona to pursue a Master’s degree in Public Health Policy and Management. It was during this time that Felipe met Casey.

Shortly after a friendship blossomed, Casey accompanied Felipe on a trip to Brazil to visit his family. It was there on the beaches of Ipanema in Rio that they decided to become more than just friends. It is on that beach in Rio, during the 2016 Olympics, that Casey would eventually propose. Upon graduating, Felipe left Tucson for San Francisco in pursuit of his career in healthcare. Casey would soon follow. It is in San Francisco that Casey and Felipe would make life long friends and mentors. Their unwavering support would not only propel their careers but also help them call San Francisco home. Casey is currently General Manager of Hi Tops, the Castro’s most loved sports bar. Felipe is a Senior Product Manager at Abbott, a medical device company. Casey and Felipe have lived in San Francisco with their Australian Cattle Dog, Roxy, for the past 7 years.
