Things To Do
If you'll be coming from out of town and would like to make a weekend trip out of our wedding, Salisbury has a cute downtown area to explore with plenty of restaurants, a train museum, history and more.
Additionally, the venue that we've chosen is very close to High Rock Lake, the second largest lake in NC. Perhaps you'd like to relax when you're not dancing the night away at our wedding by renting a house on the lake to enjoy some peace and calm.
If you're looking for more adventure while in town, Charlotte is just an hour south of Salisbury where you can find many outdoor activities, shopping, dining, museums and even performances to visit. --Some of our favorite things we've done in Charlotte are attending baseball games at the Knights Stadium, listened to some smooth jazz at Middle C Jazz, Pins Mechanical for a fun date night, outdoor adventure at the White Water Center or viewed some local art and live performances in Camp North End at GoodYear Arts.
