What should I wear to the Big Day?

Answer

We request Black Tie Optional Attire! Below are a couple of examples: For the boys: Suits and Ties or Tuxedos For the girls: Floor length gowns, Cocktail dresses, or Pantsuits

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin seating at 3:30. Please arrive before 4:00 so you don't miss all the fun!

Will the ceremony and reception be located at the same place?

Answer

Yes! Both the ceremony and reception will take place at the Dunes Club of Atlantic Beach with a cocktail hour in between!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There is unlimited parking available at The Dunes Club, so no worries there!

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We would LOVE to see pictures taken by our guests during our cocktail hour and reception! Please use our hashtag #HappyThanksGiblin on social media so we can see them! We just ask that our ceremony be "unplugged" so you can enjoy yourselves and our photographers and videographer can capture the moment! Don't worry, we'll share them with you!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! We have a hotel block with The Inn at Pine Knoll Shores and The Hilton Inn and Suites of Atlantic Beach! See our Travel Page for more details!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! Our bar will be open for beer, wine, spirits, and soft drinks up to a pre-set monetary amount. Once we have hit that limit, we will offer a cash bar for the remainder of the evening. The Dunes Club does not accept credit cards, so if you are interested, please bring cash as needed!

What are the menu choices for dinner?

Answer

We have 4 options for you to chose from, the details are listed below! Please pick your selection while submitting your RSVP! Herb Encrusted Free Range Chicken: Topped with caramelized onion sauce and served with wild rice pilaf and seasonal vegetable medley. Pork Tenderloin Medallions: Tri-pepper seasoning and topped with whole grain mustard demi-glace served with baby red smashed potatoes and haricot verts. Salmon Brulee: Sweet lacquered salmon with lemon honey reduction served with smoked gouda mac and cheese and herb roasted asparagus. Children's Plate: chicken tenders and french fries for the little ones!

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

In order to keep our guest list on track, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Please feel free to e-mail us with any questions!
