Please refer to Jamaica's official travel website for their travel advisories at https://www.visitjamaica.com/travelauthorization/ Currently, a Covid-19 test is required no more than 3 days before traveling to Jamaica. You must also fill out a travel authorization for no later than 7 days before traveling to Jamaica (we advise you fill this out as soon as you confirm you will be attending).
"All-inclusive" resorts are just as they sound - the price includes all meals, drinks, (typically) tax and gratuity, and tend to be a little higher priced for this reason.
Some of the all-inclusive resorts include complimentary round-trip transports from the airport. If it's not complimentary, they can arrange transportation for you.
We will be providing round trip shuttling services for the day of the wedding from Moon Palace to the Venue. If you are staying in an Airbnb or Villa and would like to still be included in the shuttle please be to Moon Palace no later than 3pm, and let us know so we can put you on the list!
HOT. It's pretty hot year-round in JA. With that being said, when the sun sets, there is a wonderful cool ocean breeze that is pretty consistent :) There will also be 5 different cooling units in our tent to ensure our guests are as comfortable as possible.
The entire wedding will be outdoors. Please plan your attire accordingly. The reception will be under a covered and air conditioned tent.
It depends on your provider. We suggest purchasing an international plan with your provider during your time in JA. We also suggest downloading WhatsApp on your phone (it's free). It uses WiFi for calls and texting, but keep in mind Wifi is spotty on the island.
The official currency in Jamaica is the Jamaican Dollar. However, at most resorts and tourist areas US dollars are accepted and in some cases the primary currency accepted. There are currency exchange counters at the airport if you choose to exchange some money(having some local currency at hand is probably a good idea).
