FAQs

Question

Where should we stay?

Answer

Amador County has many cute places to stay about 15-30 minutes from the wedding site. The recommended hotels listed in the Travel section have hotel blocks set up for our wedding guests. Be sure to mention our wedding when you book! Airbnb may also have some great options in the area.

Question

How do we get to the wedding?

Answer

Volcano is a tiny town so we strongly recommend carpooling to the wedding. All of the hotels are 15-30 minutes outside of Volcano. We will provide a parking map as we get closer to the date.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Daytime outdoor wedding wear with flat shoes. The wedding will be outside on a lawn and the town has cobbled sidewalks. We are hoping for lovely late Spring weather but bring a layer just in case.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

Unfortunately we are only able to accommodate the children in the wedding party. If you have questions, please contact us directly.

Question

What’s the closest airport?

Answer

Sacramento International Airport (SMF) is 1.5 hours away San Francisco International Airport (SFO) is close to 3 hours away

Question

Are there wedding events on Sunday?

Answer

Casey and Bradley will be hanging in Volcano on Sunday and would love to see people who want to come by for a very casual drop by brunch. Details to follow.

Question

Can I take photos?

Answer

We have hired a professional photographer and videographer to capture the day so don’t worry about holding onto your phones. We request that phones are put away for the ceremony and would love to see your other shots from the day!
