In our opinion, this is the best beach in Southern California! Whether it's for a walk, beach day or to scout out our dream homes, we come here every time we are in town.
Newport Beach Duffy Boats
There's no better way to experience the world famous Newport Beach than from the water! We love to rent a Duffy Boat for the afternoon and check out all of the gorgeous mansions on the water. Don't forget snacks and a bottle of rosé!
Mission San Juan Capistrano
Located just next door to our venue and founded more than 200 years ago, the Mission San Juan Capistrano is considered the birthplace of Orange County. It is an integral part of California's history. It's also where we took our engagement photos. We highly recommend taking a tour while you are in town!
Whale Watching
Whale watching in Orange County never disappoints. There's so much activity in the ocean here that we have actually seen someone PET A WHALE! We're not kidding...
The Deck
Hands down the BEST place to grab a drink! This bar/restaurant is located right on the sand in Laguna Beach. We love the spicy margaritas!
San Clemente Pier
This is one of our favorite date spots in the area. Grab fish and chips at one of the restaurants on the pier or pick up a coffee from Bear Coast and walk out to the end! Keep an eye out for professional surfers who frequent the break at the pier!
Ohana Music Festival
Ohana is one of our favorite music festivals and it's right on the beach in Dana Point! It just so happens to be scheduled the same weekend of our wedding. Kings of Leon are headlining on Friday night and Pearl Jam on Sunday.
