They met while working as nurses at Dartmouth-Hitchcock in 2019. While working nightshift they longed to spend more time together. Casey would often bike or take the bus to work. Ally, feeling fearless one morning, offered to drive him home. Post work tired breakfast dates turned into energetic dinner dates. Ally still remembers one of their early dates to Molly's. They had spent the night eating, laughing and losing all track of time. They played tic tac toe long past paying the check, last call, and closing the place down. They had their first kiss while ringing in the new year. Their first trip together was to Montreal for Casey's birthday. This early adventure set a high bar for the desire to travel together. Over the winters they would ski and over the summers they would paddle to their own islands. As the months turned to years, they decided it was time to make a change. Ally who had never left New Hampshire, decided she wanted to try travel nursing. After much discussion, they decided together that they were going to Idaho. Ally was both excited and nervous about this new experience. The realization of being 2200 miles away from family set in for her. Throughout the battle with home sickness , Casey was by her side to help keep her grounded. While living in Idaho they both realized what they needed to feel at home anywhere as long as they were together. After making countless unforgettable experiences traveling across the country they decided it was time to come back to New England and settle into to Portland, Maine. Casey had known for a while that Ally was the one, and decided it was time to act. After getting engaged on July 4th with Grammies ring, they decided to buy their first house together in Gorham. Their dog Finn, who was along for all the travels and had to endure all the small apartments was most excited about having his own yard. Now, Ally and Casey are going on 5 years together. Their love has been tried and tested throughout the travels and challenges of life. They have always come out stronger together. They wanted the wedding to be intimate and somewhere significant to them. So here we are in one of their favorite places in the country. Where early on they knew their love to stand the tests of life.
