My Maid of Honor, Scottie, is my best friend and the kind of person who’s been a steady constant in my life. She keeps me grounded, always shows up, and somehow makes everything feel manageable. We met at Walmart—because Walmart has everything, even besties—and our daughters pretty much made the call that none of us were leaving until we were all friends. I’m so thankful for her, and I can’t imagine this day without her right beside me.

My bridesmaid, Kirstin, is Lance’s sister, and from the very beginning she’s made me feel like family. Ever since Lance and I got together, she’s been saying I was going to be her sister—and she’s treated me that way every step of the way. I’m so grateful for her love, support, and the way she’s welcomed me into their family, and I’m honored to have her standing with me on our big day.
