Our Story

The High School Sweethearts

I remember walking into class my first day of fifth grade & the first person I saw was Casey. We both just smiled at each other as I took my seat, before you know it you we were always together. We didn't hang out very much our 7th & 8th grade year, those years turned into a blur. Then freshman year of high school began, we were together in the hallways, at lunch & then before you knew it, we were texting each other every minute we weren't together. We were inseparable; we still are. Then one night, I had a volleyball game & Casey was there. After my volleyball game, the next game began & I walked out of the lockeroom to find Casey waiting for me. He asked me to take a walk with him outside. On our walk back to the school, he asked me to the homecoming dance the following weekend; I said yes. The following week I had another game, Casey asked me to go for another walk, on our way back to the school, he asked me if I would be his girlfriend; I said yes again. From being 8th grade hoco king & queen, to being on the hoco court two times, prom king and queen, college, buying a house together, raising a puppy, & now engaged! This year on Oct. 7th, we celebrated 7 years together. On November 9th, my mother scheduled to have a family photo shoot & Casey decided to tag along. After taking all the pictures we wanted, Mrs. Skerski asked if she could take pictures of Casey and I. After a few pictures, I stood up to reposition myself when I heard "Hey Kel..." I turned around & Casey was down on one knee. Casey said to me, "Kelly, you & I have been together since our freshman year of high school, you're my best friend, the love of my life, I can't imagine my life without you, will you marry me?" After I said yes, I hugged & kissed him with tears of joy running down my face. I then turned around to find my mother, brother, & father crying; my father most of all. So there you have it! Thats our story, the story of how we met & how we have been inseparable ever since!
