It all started with a Super Like on Tinder. After returning from a friend's wedding overseas, Casey was merely passing through Indy for an evening. She logged into the online dating app just to see if there were any prospects. It wasn't looking good, and she quickly forgot about it. A few days later, Casey was back in Cincinnati. Because she had logged in while travelling through Indy, Casey somehow show up in Chad's feed despite living well out of his dating app's range. New to the app at that time was a feature called 'super like' which he used to ensure she would see him; he did not want to be ignored by her. Looking at his profile, Casey thought he was cute and fun. She decided to give him a chance. A match was made and Chad and Casey began chatting. Casey loved his wit, kindness and honesty via text. Chad was intrigued by how authentic and fun she seemed. After talking for a short time over the phone, a date was set. Chad had never desired to be in a long-distance, but something about Casey compelled him to give it a try. He could sense something very special about Casey and even put her name in his phone as "Casey (future wife)" (A reference to a 30 Rock episode that was written only kind-of tongue in cheek.) They instantly connected and their first date lasted 7 hours, kissing for the first time within 5 minutes of meeting each other in person and instantly opening up to each other about their deepest values, hopes, fears, and experiences. Shortly after that date they began visiting each other most every weekend and taking regular adventures together to places like Red River Gorge. They made their relationship official and weathered a long-ish distance relationship for almost 2 years before deciding they'd make Indy their home together. On their third international trip together, Chad proposed to Casey in Kyoto, Japan. Just as when he first laid eyes on Casey on Tinder, Chad wanted to 'lock it down'; this time he would do it forever.
