About Us

Getting to know us

Brenda: Hello everyone, for those who don't know me, my name is Brenda Victoria Mesquita (soon to be a Dillon). I was born in Boston, MA but moved to Austin, TX when I was three years old. Pretty much grew up in Texas until my junior year when my family and I moved to Idaho to be closer to my step-dads family. I graduated from Nampa Christian and am currently in college to obtain a BA in marketing and advertising with a minor in Spanish. As far as my occupation goes, I am a stay-at-home mom but help manage my parent's Airbnb properties. For hobbies, some things I enjoy when I have free time are reading, writing, drawing, painting, video games, and photography. Casey: I was born in Seattle, WA, and have a twin sister named Adrianne and four brothers. I lived in Seattle until the age of 7 and moved to Sunnyside, WA. In 7th grade, I moved to Wilder, ID with my family and graduated from Cossa Academy in 2013. After graduating, I immediately started working. Years later I became a father and had my daughter Rhea in 2018. Some of my hobbies are going to the gym, playing semi-pro football for a while, game in my free time and watch anime with my lovely weeb of a fiance Brenda.

How we met

Originally, Brenda and Casey met each other for the first time in a church group. Funny enough both of them were the only ones that were single parents and the rest of the group were either married couples with kids or some of them were single. The church group only met up once and never happened again. However, Brenda and Casey met again at the gym multiple times yet both of them were nervous and didn't talk to each other. A couple of days later, Casey had the courage to talk to Brenda and ask her out to go on a football date and went from there.

First Date

He didn't call it a date...

Essentially when Casey asked me out he didn't really express that it was a DATE. Casey's words were "I am looking for more Christian friends so we should hang out sometime" so I was like okay sure I need more Christian friends too. We exchanged numbers at the gym since I was about to leave and I messaged him when I got home. Casey invited me to go to the BSU game with him and I had never gone to one before so I said yes to him. He then pointed out and suggested meeting up for dinner that Sunday to get to know each other before we go to the BSU game (which was on a Friday). In short words, our FIRST date was dinner at Chapalas the second date was the BSU game.

Favorite Memories Together

Road Trip

One of our favorite memories together was the trip to Oregon for Casey's birthday. I guess you would call it a family road trip since it was Casey, Kai, Rhea, and me. Even though it was for only a few days it was nice for all of us to spend time together away from the city and everyone else. No distractions and mainly focusing on enjoying our time together. We had a place right on the coast and a jacuzzi was on the side of the house with a view of the Pacific ocean. It was absolutely relaxing. We enjoyed every minute of it. Casey and I walked around town getting to know Lincoln City since we weren't familiar with the area. Ate at a couple of nice restaurants and went sightseeing. Overall, just an amazing experience with him and the kids.
