FAQs

Question

What does the $300 per person include?

Answer

The $300 per person price includes your room/bathroom in the home for the entire week (Sunday-Sunday). All rooms have been assigned. For any questions related to your room assignment, please reach out to Casey. The family will be checking in Sunday to set up the home and assign rooms, but guests are encouraged to come whenever they are able to past 6PM on Sunday May 4th, 2025. The price must remain the same regardless of when the guest arrives. (Which is still a great deal!)

Question

Will food be provided?

Answer

We will have kitchen basics like coffee, creamer, milk, cereal, bread, etc. and will be making home cooked family style dinners from Sunday- Wednesday. Breakfast and Lunch will be on your own, but we imagine when folks are making breakfast and lunches we can make more for anyone who is hungry! Dinner plans are on the Schedule tab of the website. If you would like to do your own thing with your friends/family those nights, please feel free! There are multiple large refrigerators and stoves for anyone who would like to store or make food on their own. Dinner on Thursday and Friday night will be catered.

Question

Does the house have beach towels or beach chairs?

Answer

The house has a service set up 2-3 umbrellas and 6 chairs on the beach in front of the house each morning, and take them down each night. The home does not otherwise provide beach towels, chairs, or umbrellas. Guests are encouraged to bring beach towels with them! The pool has chairs that can be taken down to the beach, but guests must bring them back after use.

Question

Do I need to bring anything specific?

Answer

The following items below are encouraged for guests to bring if you are driving down! There are multiple grocery stores and restaurants close to the home for guests who would like to grab anything while there. - Alcohol for the week days (there will be beers/wine and some liquor in the home, but we will only be providing a bartending service on Friday night) - Any preferred groceries/drinks (there will be some basic necessities/kitchen supplies, coffees, and teas available, but if you would like anything specific you are encouraged to bring it!) - Beach towels/Beach chairs

Question

Does the house have laundry machines?

Answer

YES! The house has multiple sets of washers and dryers for guests to use.

Question

Will there be a lot of noise each night?

Answer

This is meant to be a vacation for all of us! Please expect noise past 10 PM for guests who are night owls; however, all amplified noise must be turned off by 11 PM per Corolla ordinance. We will be assigning rooms based on our knowledge of friends/family who are bringing children or who like to go to bed early. We promise to do our best to accommodate everyone!

Question

Can I bring my child?

Answer

Bring your kids at your own risk! There is no extra cost to bring your little one, but we do ask you let us know so we can take that into consideration when assigning rooms.

Question

Can I bring my pet?

Answer

No! The home is no pets allowed, sorry!

Question

Do guests need to do anything for check out?

Answer

Yes, thank you for asking! All guests must collect trash from their rooms and bathrooms, and put all damp towels or sheets in the bathroom on the tile floor or in the bathtub (to prevent mildew). But that's it!

Question

What if there is an emergency and we can't come. Do we get our money back?

Answer

If a guest has already made their deposit but must back out, we will need to find an alternate guest to take the room before providing a refund, so please plan accordingly. The home is protected with travel insurance, so if for any other reason the trip were to be cancelled, all guests would receive a refund.
