We are so excited to celebrate our love story with you!

The Bride and Groom have known each other for nearly their entire lives. For those of you who don't know, Becky & Joe (the Groom's parents) are best friends with "Mammaw & Pappaw" or, Cindy and Rick Matheney (the Bride's grandparents). So, the Copeland's were basically family and always at cookouts or get togethers. So, Wade & CasCinda were always a part of each other's lives, just not front & center. Once they grew up, their paths crossed again in their teen years at one of the groomsmen's home (I'll let you guess which one). Wade gave CasCinda a ride home in his car, while jamming out to the loud subs (you weren't cool then, if you didn't have at least one 12" sub-woofer). CasCinda specifically remembers thinking "I really hope this kid doesn't think that I like him." But low and behold, she's the one that couldn't get him off of her mind. Whether it was the loud bass or the jokes, it all was leading up to the Copeland wedding taking place on October 2nd, of 2021!

If you read our "how we met," you'll know that Wade and I grew up together, but almost unknowingly. The first memory I have of Wade takes place in Mammaw & Rick's Jeep. They were watching me for the day (I was litttle) and it just so happens that they were going to be watching Wade too. We drove to pick up this strange kid. I was shy, so when he got in I didn't say anything. I'm glad I didn't because I hear he was a bully back in his younger days!! (all jokes) On the ride back to Mammaw's, the kid starts peeling off the safety sticker on the window. Me being the competitive squirt I was decided I would get it done quicker than him, so I started in on my sticker. Next thing I know I'm getting in trouble!! Did Wade also get in trouble, you may ask? NOPE. And that, my friends, was the beginning of MANY competitions and trouble that we would be getting ourselves into later on...

They always used to keep a pair of mud boots for Wade at the house. I guess you could not keep that kid out of the mud, water, whatever it may be. They were his boots for their house, and they called them "Wader's" I remember being a little girl and getting SO MAD because I wanted to wear the mud boots. Mammaw and Pappaw just kept telling me, "you can't wear them, they're waders!" Do you know what I thought? I thought "No kidding I know that they are waders, I want to wear them to go wade in the water!!" It took nearly 16 years for this misunderstanding to be resolved.
