FAQs

The Wedding Website of Hannah Rohde and Austin Casada
Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

As it stands, our ceremony will be held outside on the lawn, which means guests will have to walk on grass, so ladies, beware of your heels. In the unfortunate event of bad weather, the ceremony will be moved into the onsite chapel. After the ceremony, join us for cocktail hour near the covered patio, then join us inside the great hall for the reception.

Question

Is there parking available near the wedding venue?

Answer

There is plenty of free on-site parking for all of our guests.

Question

Where should we stay?

Answer

We have secured a block of rooms at the Gaylord Texan Resort. To book using our block rate, please see the travel section of our wedding website for more info.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We kindly ask that our guests follow a semi-formal dress code. For the gentlemen, a suit and tie would be wonderful. For the ladies, a dress or other formal wear would be appropriate, just don't wear white, and no jeans, please!

Question

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately, we are not allowing additional plus-ones to our wedding. We are working closely with the venue to ensure we have an accurate count for catering and all other services. The name of every guest invited to attend is clearly listed on your invitation, and no additional guests can be accommodated.

Question

Am I allowed to take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you keep our wedding "unplugged" and refrain from taking any photos or videos during the ceremony. We want our guests to truly be in the moment with us during this special day. Don't worry, though! Thanks to Amanda Raylee Photography, we will have professional photographers present during the ceremony and throughout the night who will be capturing each moment for us and our guests.

Question

I have more questions about your wedding, who can I contact?

Answer

You can contact the mother of the bride, Krista Rohde, at krista_rohde@yahoo.com with any further questions ahead of the wedding.

Question

What time should we arrive?

Answer

We are working out the details of the schedule currently, but please check back closer to the wedding date, and we will update with the most accurate information. Plan to arrive 15-30 minutes prior to the ceremony time to make sure that you do not miss the special moment!
