What should we expect?

Answer

A low-key, small, intimate celebration with plenty of heart. We expect the party to be less than 50 of us, so very relaxed and friendly.

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

Preferably by May 31st, but reach out if you need a more flexible deadline (possibly due to new little bundles of joy, or other life chaos!)

What should I wear?

Answer

Semi Formal/Cocktail should cover it. Dresses, suits, separates, jumpsuits, pantsuits, colours all welcome. Ties preferred at Tretower Avoid stilettos (Post ceremony toast will be in the gardens and grounds of Tretower, and you might want to go exploring!)

What should I know about Tretower Court & Castle?

Answer

Tretower Court & Castle is a Cadw site and will be open to the public during the ceremony. There are uneven stairs up to the first floor where the ceremony is taking place. Celebratory toast and photos will be in the gardens and grounds after the ceremony.

What should I know about Llanwenarth Village Hall?

Answer

It's small and cosy! On the outskirts of Abergavenny - 20-25min walk from the centre of town.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There's plenty of parking for the ceremony at Tretower. Parking at the village hall is more limited. If you’re able to share lifts, it would be a big help. Neville Hall Hospital (just down the road) has free parking and is usually very quiet on Saturday evenings. You can leave your car and collect on Sunday morning.

Babies are welcome, but otherwise the day will be adults‑only. If this affects your ability to attend, please let us know and we’ll do our best to help.

Can we get you a gift?

Answer
