Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Given that this is a destination wedding for most, we kindly request a “soft” RSVP when you are able to provide one. This does not commit to your decision, but rather, allows us to book the appropriate hotel blocks, lodging options, etc. We understand that this is not possible for some this far in advance and is completely understood. Feel free to shoot one of us of a text or call. Thank you for understanding! A formal/final RSVP date will be included with your formal invitation. Please use the "RSVP" tab to respond and include your meal choice.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Since the ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 PM, we recommend you aim to arrive by 3:30 PM to ensure you are seated on time.

Where should we fly into?

Answer

We recommend flying into Orlando (MCO) or Tampa (TPA). The Orlando airport is slightly closer, but this depends on how you would like to spend the remainder of your weekend, given this is a "destination" wedding for many of our friends and family. MCO is about 55 miles away while TPA is around 80 miles. There is a smaller, regional airport located nearby in Lakeland (30 miles) for smaller airlines.

Do we need a rental car?

Answer

We strongly encourage a rental car due to the rustic and rural setting of our venue, which is about 25-30 minutes from the nearest town with lodging options.

Will there be parking at the venue or rideshare options?

Answer

Yes! There is plenty of the parking at our venue, Sugar Grove Estate, where both our ceremony and reception will be held. We are also working with the venue to obtain large party "ride share" options and Uber deals for those who feel more comfortable getting back to their accommodations this way or wish to continue the party after hours with us!

What are the lodging options nearby?

Please see the travel page. We have listed hotels local to the area but guests are welcome to find accommodations closer to Orlando or Tampa.

Is there a dress code?

Our wedding attire is cocktail. Spring colors are encouraged!

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Due to space constraints, we can only accommodate named guests on your invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear when you RSVP. We appreciate your understanding.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

For our special day, we've decided to keep our wedding adults only, outside of immediate family, so everyone can fully relax and enjoy the evening with us. We hope you'll take this chance for a special date night!

Do you have a registry?

Answer

We have chosen not to have a registry, as your attendance on our special day is the greatest gift at all.
