FAQs

The Wedding Website of Tara Carucci and Sean McCarthy
Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Formal attire. Think colorful and elegant. Long dresses are preferred for women, and suits for men. We’d love for the ladies to embrace florals and bright colors, and avoid black if possible. The ceremony will take place on the beach, so please keep the sand in mind when choosing your shoes!

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

We love your little ones, but our wedding will be adults only. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We kindly ask that only the guests listed on your invitation join us in celebrating. If a plus one has been included, it will be indicated on your invitation.

Question

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

We will have a shuttle service for the wedding from The Mansion at Glen Cove to The Crescent Beach Club. Transportation will depart from the hotels and return back to the hotel following the after party. We strongly prefer you not drive to the wedding so you can fully enjoy yourselves! However, there is parking at the venue.

Question

What should I expect for the ceremony?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be at The Crescent Beach Club. Our ceremony will be right on the beach, followed by cocktail hour by the water. Make sure to grab our signature drink, enjoy some bites, and take in the North Shore views.

Question

Will there be a welcome party, after party, or brunch?

Answer

Yes. We will be celebrating all weekend with our loved ones. We’ll have a welcome party on Friday night at Oak and Vine in Glen Cove, our wedding will take place on Saturday at The Crescent Beach Club, and a farewell brunch on Sunday at The Mansion at Glen Cove. Full details will be shared on the Events page.
