This has been one of our favorites for date night! Thankfully, there are multiple locations because the lines can get long! We recommend the "Al Pastor" and "Sonora" tacos, an order of churros, the California burrito, or carne asada fries.
This is our favorite breakfast spot in SD. Sidney worked here as a waitress while she was in grad school, and it's hard to beat. For those who prefer a more savory meal, we recommend the "California Breakfast Burrito" or "Turkey Sandwich with Truffle Fries." If you have a sweet tooth, don't miss out on the "Berry Sweet" or "Banana Foster" french toast!
Sidney is a big coffee lover, and Better Buzz is at the top of her list. Alex typically treats her with "The Best Drink Ever" after their runs on Sunday mornings. They have multiple locations throughout San Diego. If you're a little hungry, try their Acai bowl for breakfast.
This is a great little hike with a beautiful view of the coast if you want to spend some time outdoors!
This walking trail is right along the water and gives you a glimpse of Point Loma Nazarene University (Sidney's undergrad alma mater!)
This is the BEST spot for some drinks/snacks with a few! This park has a huge grassy area with a few of Mission Bay and Pacific Beach.
We love spending time in Coronado as it's such a unique place in San Diego. We recommend walking down Orange Avenue and window shopping at all of the little stores on the main street.
This is a classic beach town! We spent many Sunday mornings running along this boardwalk at 7am. We suggest talking a walk along the boardwalk, stopping for sushi at "Cannonball" for a meal with a view, and checking out "Belmont Park."
