Rental or Rideshare?

Austin is a ride share friendly town, and it's easy to get from the airport and around town at a reasonable rate. A ride share from Austin to Lockhart is approximately a $50 - 80 ride one way, and it is advised to schedule a ride ahead of time to guarantee transport back to the city. We are providing a shuttle from Austin to Lockhart and back, but space is limited and departure times are strict. Lockhart has limited ride share services and it is highly recommend to rent a car if you decide to stay in Lockhart over Austin. The bonus to staying in Lockhart is you get to enjoy all of Lockhart's amazing amenities. Additionally, our wedding ceremony is an eight minute walk away from our dinner reception at Commerce Hall, and a one minute walk to Old Pal, where we'll dance and celebrate. Please reach out to us if you have limited mobility and will not be able to make this walk. We can coordinate with family and friends to help drive those who need extra assistance.
