We're Getting Married!!

Carter and I met in March 2018 at his younger sister Sydney’s 16th birthday party, and what felt like just another night ended up being the beginning of everything! We only talked briefly, but what Carter didn’t know was that I had a huge crush on him. He was the cool senior, I was a sophomore, and I never imagined we would actually end up together. But after that night, we kept talking, and we never really stopped. On July 9th, 2018, Carter asked me to be his girlfriend, and from that moment on, life just kept bringing us closer. We went to prom together, I watched him graduate high school and head to college in Utah, and somehow we made long distance work. Not long after, he came back to Washington, and we continued living our life side by side. Over the years, we’ve grown up together in every sense. From high school to college at Eastern Washington, to starting our careers and moving in together. We got our first dog together (Reggie), lived through Covid, moved in together, and later added another dog (Scottie) to our little family. After 7 years of growing, learning, and choosing each other every day, Carter proposed in Florida! When we look back, it’s hard to believe how far we’ve come from that first night. We’ve built a life that once felt like a dream, and somehow it’s even better than we imagined. Through every season, we’ve been each other’s constant. The person to laugh with, lean on, and figure everything out alongside. We are so proud of the life we’ve built and the people we’ve become together, and we can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of you!
