Welcome

We feel fortunate to be surrounded by such amazing friends and family, and it truly means the world to us to be able to celebrate this next chapter with you. That said, we know that attending a wedding, especially one that involves long-distance travel isn’t always easy or possible. Please know that while we would love to have you with us in person, your well wishes from afar are just as meaningful to us. Regardless of whether you can make it or not, we're so grateful to have you in our lives and hope to see you soon!

How We Met

It started with a smile. Literally.

Jon noticed Morgan’s right away, genuine and kind, the one that sticks with you (even if you forget to ask for her number… which he did). Luckily, fate and a second Halloween party just one week later offered a second chance. That night, dressed as an ‘80s ski bum (which barely registered in a ski bum bar), Jon spotted Morgan again, this time dressed as a literal goddess. She walked right up and asked, “Do you remember me?” Jon didn’t miss a beat: “Of course I do, Morgan.” Name remembered. Redemption unlocked. Drinks were ordered. Conversations flowed. Jon shared that he worked for a local environmental nonprofit, lobbying for smarter water practices. Morgan was hooked, turns out ski bums with a passion for environmentalism are her thing. From there, it was hours of stories about past travels, time living abroad, and a shared love for adventure. They ditched their friends, danced a little, laughed a lot, and basically forgot anyone else was in the room. This time, Jon got her number. And yes, he texted the very next day. Fast-forward six years: countless camping trips, ski tours, and international adventures later… they’ve navigated career changes, a global pandemic, and Jon’s cancer diagnosis and treatment together. Along the way, they built a life rooted in adventure, humor and resilience. Next stop: a wedding in the mountains, with the people who matter most.
