What to Wear / Dress Code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal / cocktail attire. Ladies should be wearing cocktail dresses (or a pant suit)! and the gentlemen should be wearing a suit and tie or a sports coat. No Jeans.

Covid precautions?

Answer

As an extra precaution for the safety of all guests, we ask that you take a Covid test prior to attending the wedding. If you feel sick at all, please use best judgement and stay home! We do not want to risk the well being of our guests. If you do wish to wear a face mask, you are welcome to.

How's the weather?

Answer

Indiana weather in October can vary quite a bit. I would recommend packing in layers. We could get a surprise 70 degree day, or alternatively cold and rainy.

Where are the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Both ceremony and reception will be taking place at Hawthorns Country Club. Weather pemitting, the ceremony will be outdoors. The cocktail hour and reception will both be indoors, with easy outdoor accessibility.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We ask that childen outside the bridal party stay at home so that the adults can enjoy the party! If you need help finding baby sitting options, please reach out and Tom or Jen would be happy to help.

Are there special dietary options?

Please advise us in advance if you have a food allergy, or require a vegan / vegetarian / gluten free option.

Please visit the registry section on our website for links. We are registered thru Zola, Williams-Sonoma and Crate and Barrel.

Can I take photos at the wedding?

Answer

We ask that you do limit your cell phone use during the ceremony. Feel free to take photos during the reception, our only request is that you tag the photos with our wedding hashtag is #JevansgotCarteredAway so that we can easily track the photos of our special day! We are working with an amazing photographer who will be sure to get plenty of photos of all the guests.
